Wii Sports IS fun. Spent a good six hours playing it on friday. At work even. The Wii has my vote for the "To Buy" Console.

Out of the new round of systems the Wii looks to be the "newest". The xbox and the ps3 will just be shoving more of the same down the pipes. Yeah, they are more powerfull than the last generation but they are computers with a OS that won't let you do anything but play games. Shiney graphics do not a good game make. Nintendo is actually stepping out of the "power" contest and seem to be looking at pushing the concept of gaming outside of the box with pictures you control by pushing buttons. This will be the only new system I will buy. The PS3 and the xbox will have to wait till they are $20 at the used game shop.

I only use my iPod at work, and just to get music from home to work. A Wii would certainly get more a workout than a iPod on my side of the tracks.

If I do buy a wii, I'll still use my iPod more.

I don't think there is a single day that I don't use it at some point.

I'm looking forward to the Wii. I imagine we will buy one in the January/February timeframe.

The the price of iPod you can get the game station and a couple games.

The only thing with the Wii Sports games is if they are as active and fun as I expect, then I'll need a bigger TV and bigger room to play in.

Plus, if I'm standing - as the videos on the Wii.com web site might suggest - it would be much better to have the TV higher on the wall.

Once again it looks like I will bend my life around some silly video game. But at least it will get me moving!!

Nintendo Wii... FTW!!!

Sony is in trouble, and the PS3 is only one piece of the puzzle there. I wouldn't even consider buying one... but then again, history has shown that I'm not an avid gamer.

The blue ray drive is a gimick. Until the next gen DVD format war is over, it's a moot point. Besides, not too many people have HDTV's that can even display those disks at full resolution anyway.

The Wii on the other hand... I might just buy one! Nintendo is betting that amazing graphics aren't everything, and that fun games will sell. I agree. Give me a game that I can pick up and play. I don't care if it's lifelike or not. I just want to be able to play it without spending hours mastering the controls first.
