Ah, Metal Gear. One of my most beloved franchises thanks to its first NES game. Guns, espionage, maps, giant robots…what’s not to love? Split/Second blurs by other racers

Split/Second is one game where the demo does not do it justice. This game and Blur were released around the same time. I played both demos and Blur seemed like better game so it was there that I placed my bet. Crate-O-Games, Ironsword

I spent part of the day organizing and cleaning around the house in attempts to find a laptop bag that may contain my NES ROM cartridge. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the bag or the cart but in the process did have to move my Crate-O-Games for the NES. Seeing these carts is always a trip down memory lane, and not just playing the game but the event that surrounded each one. Continue reading

Castlevania, whipping itself back into my heart
