I’ve been writing/blogging for quite a while now, upwards of 10 years or more. Writing is just something I like to do. It doesn’t matter who, if anyone, reads it…it’s just a way to empty my brain in a fun way. I never expected my blogging to result in much, and it hadn’t until just recently. I’ve officially become a guest blogger.

Yes, I finished a project, amazing as that is. After a couple months of weekend coding sessions, I have launched a new web game, a fantasy racing league…for Hot Wheels. Best part is, you don’t have to collect to play, but right now I just need your help testing it all.

In my everlasting attempt to create things to entertain people, I’ve made video games, blogs, radio shows, contests…lots of things, and it’s all been fun, but I have yet to make a web-based game that I consider successful. I’ve tried but it never worked out like I had hoped. I’m trying again and this time it just feels right.

What goes up, must come down. And that old addege applies to toys as well. When it comes to building toys, you almost guarantee that any sort of giant structure is going to come down, usually in a most spectacular way. At one point during my childhood I had a toy that was a little different than other building toys - it was meant to come down.

Philip who runs a favorite toy blog of mine, Battlegrip, is currently on a trip in Hong Kong for some sort of toy convention. He’s writing about it as he goes and more so he’s posting photos. All I can say is never take me to Hong Kong.

If you’re a person that works in the same spot 8-hours a day for five days a week, then work is pretty much a second home. All in all, you probably spend more time awake at work than you do at home during the regular work week. That means work needs to be as comfortable and happy as possible…and in my case, it means I bring a little bit of home to work.
