I suppose it’s like house rules in a game of pool… you agree to a level playing field, a certain set of rules. One can’t play slop while the other plays no-slop. Only with Words with Friends — who’s the Home team?

I suppose I don’t object to a word finding app. What I do object to is the “Best Word” button on some scrabble apps that allows the technology to choose the best word on the board. That is cheatin’.

Unless you’re both doing it, of course.

Yeah, I’m kind of afraid of that too. But right now we don’t have but 1 Blu-ray so most of our stuff is DVD/Netflix, so I won’t be bombarded with Blu-ray to really want to start replacing old movies…at least, that’s my though. I’m probably wrong and I’ll start buying Blu-rays left and right.

I didn’t think I would start replacing my old movies with blu-rays either. Once I had been watching blu-rays enough, it was hard to watch movies in standard definition.

This was very uncharacteristic for Roxi. Colby is the destroyer in our family but he was sleeping all night. I was very disappointed in my dog.

I owned my previous wallet for over 10 years before I accidentally washed it. I got it when I was a freshman or sophomore in college. I could’ve still made it work, but I decided it was time to get something new and Christmas was right around the corner.

Scrabble is about word placement. I knew a girl whose mom played in Scrabble championships and she said exactly the same things you just said about WWF. That she would never open a triple word score for someone and would purposefully play for less points if it meant not giving her opponent any sort of advantage.

@Will - Seventeen? That is a lot. However, I’m a firm believer that the number of clicks don’t matter as much as how easy each click is. That doesn’t mean 17 clicks isn’t too many, I think it is, but the fact that each click is so painful and requires so much mental overhead is staggering.

@Anthony - I think this highlights some of the pitfalls when you try to standardize design and interfaces across multiple devices. But then again, I think Metro is a decent interface, they just need to put the things people want in better locations.
