If you even read The Toast somewhat regularly, you'll learn quick that I'm and pro wrestling fan. I've watched it since I was 5 years old and I'm willing to bet you watched wrestling at some point too. The more people I meet, the more I find that everyone has some tie to wrestling - even if it was all before the age of 15.

All that being said, a few friends and co-workers have tuned in on my ability to relate wrestling to just about any topic. I take pride in making analogies and wrestling is my favorite go-to topic in conversation, stories, blogs, e-mails --- just about anything. Recently someone at work suggested I put wrestling references into *every* story I write. And while I toss in wrestling instinctively when I write, I like the gimmick - and since wrestling is all about gimmicks, this is the baby step.

So challenge me!

Post your best topics to this thread and I'll tell you why it's...just like wrestling.

And your ideas can be anything...not just sports related. Pull ideas from work, home, life, people, places, activities, events...whatever.

Anyone that stumps me to where I can't make a good parallel to wrestling, will receive a personalized signature banner for use here and wherever else you go on-line.

Jen, you could probably use some of these lessons in the classroom. Maybe you could have Brian in as a guest speaker.
